Symptoms of oxygen deficiency

Symptoms of generalized lack of oxygen depends on the severity and the emergence of acceleration. In the case of altitude sickness, where hypoxia develops gradually, and symptoms include headache, fatigue, shortness of breath, and a feeling of euphoria and nausea. In acute hypoxia, or lack of oxygen in a very fast
start, and changes in levels of consciousness, seizures, coma, priapism, and death occurs. Acute lack of oxygen leads to change the blue color of the skin, called cyanosis. Because hemoglobin darker color red when not bound to oxygen (deoxy-hemoglobin), in contrast to the rich red color that when bound to oxygen (oxyhemoglobin), when seen through the skin and has an increasing tendency to reflect blue light back to the eye. In cases where the displaced another oxygen molecule, such as carbon monoxide, may appear on the skin "cherry red" instead of bluish.
